# TheAPI

> Powerful REST APIs for developers: Romanian company data (ANAF / Trade Register), official BNR exchange rates with history, IP geolocation, IBAN validation and Romanian geography — served over HTTPS as JSON or XML, with JWT Bearer authentication.

TheAPI is operated by Digital Wap SRL (Bucharest, Romania — CUI 36145517, J40/7621/2016). Sign up for a free account, create a project, exchange its credentials for a JWT token (valid 7 days) and call any endpoint under https://theapi.ro/api/vs1 with an `Authorization: Bearer {token}` header. Responses are available in JSON and XML.
